The download size and time will vary depending on your modem speed and what is currently installed on your computer.<br><p> <ul> <li>V-Chat requires DirectX 3.0 to run. DirectX may be installed on your computer already. If you have installed any of the new Microsoft 3D multimedia games recently, you probably have DirectX on your computer already. If you are not sure, we strongly recommend that you install it. <a href="download/directx.exe">Download and install.</a> (Approximately 2.0 MB) <li>After installing DirectX, you will need to install the V-Chat application. <a href="download/vchat.exe">Download and install.</a> (Approximately 2.5 MB) If there is already a beta version of V-Chat 1.1 on your machine, you do not need to uninstall before starting this download. The new version will overwrite it. <li>After installing V-Chat, <a href="chat.htm" target="_top">go to the Chat Now! page</a> to begin or download additional 2D and 3D environments.
